Single Origin of the Month: Tanzania Itete AA

This delicious microlot comes to us from the AMCOS group in Mbeya, Tanzania. AMCOS is a local collective that collects cherries from 160 smallholder producers located in and around the villages of Itete, Mlowo, Idunda, and Shinzingo. This particular lot boasts an exceptionally clean and subtle acidity with stone fruit sweetness and complexity, and a satisfying cocoa finish for an excellently drinkable cup!

Single Origin of the Month: Colombia Los Hermanos

colombia.jpeg

Los Hermanos coffee is the product of a partnership between the Torres brothers in the La Union municipality of Nariño, Colombia. Juan Angel and Gabriel each own a farm, La Cafelina and La Indonesia, just outside of La Pradera town. The farms were part of the family inheritance, coming by way of their grandfather Marco Antonio Torres. The family’s history in coffee is long, with Marco Antonio being one of the first people to cultivate coffee in La Union more than 80 years ago.

Memorial Day is more than just a long weekend. Take a beat to slow down and remember those who served. We’ll be here offering 10% off* for all active duty, reserve and retired military personnel who choose to celebrate with us. Single Origin of the Month: Ethiopia Halo Hartume

perc_12oz_ethiopia-washed_white_front_SOM.jpg

This bright and beautiful coffee hails from the Halo Hartume washing station in Gedeb, Ethiopia. These beans share a flavor profile of a washed Yirgacheffe (think mild, easy drinking coffee) but surprise and delight your taste buds with something more floral and fruity - like your tongue is a candied lemon, peach, and blackberry trampoline. Enjoy a finish as delicate as jasmine flower petal sighs.
